Adventures of Reading (Early Birds)

Service Description

Participants in preschool through second grade will learn to read while enjoying books read aloud to them. These beginning readers will be immersed in literacy experiences resulting in the gaining of sight word knowledge, phonics, and phonemic awareness skills. Members will receive a Book Box containing the book of the month, a newsletter, activities, and goodies related to the book. Members will also be invited to participate in a Book Share Celebration with food and fun at the end of the month.
