Get It Together Mentoring Program offers a
variety of programs from which to choose.
The General Program Membership is designed to
provide youth in grade K- 12 with a means of
promoting positive change in their communities and
in the world by organizing and executing events that
shine the light on issues that are of importance to
them, and ignite transformation.
A Basic Membership fee is due annually and
includes participation in monthly meetings in which
members work on a committee to organize field
trips, events, fundraisers, and community service
projects of their choosing.
**There is a mandatory orientation for all general
progam members.
Participants may also choose to purchase a monthly membership ID which gives them the same privileges as the basic membership, for one month.

School- Based Programs
The School- Based Program is designed to provide students in K- 12th grades with a plan for academic success. Staff will act as a liaison between school and home, allowing parents whose work or school schedule may not be accommodating, weekly access to their child’s progress in school. This program ensures accountability for students, parents, teachers, and Get It Together Mentoring Program staff.

Church- Based Programs
The Church- Based Program is Bible focused and designed to provide youth in grades K-12 with an age- appropriate examination of Bible scriptures and the motivation and support to live a Christ- filled life.
Participants will take part in weekly scripture- based mentoring sessions in which they will engage in activities centered on the application of one or more scriptures to their daily lives. Participants will also plan and execute fundraisers, service projects, and other events, in an effort to spread the word of God to youth in their communities and around the world.
Performing Arts Programs
Positive Productions Performing Arts Program is designed to provide participants with a means of creative expression while encouraging the building of friendships around the common goal of promoting positive behaviors and attitudes amongst peers, through the arts.
The performing arts program will run in sessions—15 or more classes in which participants will take part in activities that promote singing, dancing, and acting techniques. In addition, participants will learn performance- related terms, create props and costumes, and perform a variety of shows (dance recitals, concerts, plays, skits, etc.).
Book Club Programs
The Adventures of Reading Book Club program is designed to promote literacy in students in Pre- K through 12th grade, through an exciting and exploratory approach.
Each month, participants will read and discuss a book, complete activities related to the story, and organize and implement unique ways of sharing the books with family and friends.
Mentoring Sessions
Mentoring Sessions are designed to provide youth in grades K- 12 with the guidance and support to live a positive and productive life.
Participants will engage in weekly discussions and activities designed to promote confidence, motivation, and self- worth.
Participants will complete academic and social goal sheets on a weekly basis, as well as long and short- term goal plans.
Workshops
Workshops are designed to: teach practical skills, deliver information, and to increase awareness of topics that participants can use in their daily lives.
Participants will join their peers in a 2+ hour session in which they will listen to speakers, let their voices be heard, engage in activities, and most importantly, produce results. Workshop participants will receive necessary materials and resources at each workshop. Lunch and promotional items will be provided depending on the length of the workshop and the availability of products.
